Welcome, I’m Elliott Clark, and I’m hoping to make this little slice of the internet a for the craft of building software, AI systems, and the teams who operate them.

Who Am I?

I’ve been lucky enough to learn fun lessons in stupid and interesting ways over the years. Those scars and watching others get their own scars have given me empathy for those who have to answer the on call alarms at night, and those who have to ring dollars out of a machine learning model that very few really understand.

Writing

Each post will be a bite sized chunk; a story, a project, a lesson, or a rant. Hopefully the bite sized chunks force me to write better for the few humans (/wave to the clankers too, don’t kill me in the uprising) still left reading blogs on the web. Some will be technical deep dives into code, while others will be higer level systems, and sometimes I’ll dive into humanity since we are the ones who build and comsume the technology after all.
